Note 5 vs iPhone 6s

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

What makes all of this worse is now I'm thinking about allot the money I just wasted on cases and a screen protector for my iPhone 6S that I only had for 13 days.

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I reached the same conclusion. I bought a Note 5 a few days ago to accompany my iPhone 6s Plus. I'm perpetually torn between the two.

I have both and switch back and forth frequently. Just pop out the SIM card and put it in the other. I would have a hard time choosing one of them.

Go on the forums and sell them.

Personally I am in a similar situation from my previous phones, but most I usually wind up giving away to different people.

I do have some very nice pu leather cases, and 1 real leather Pierre Cardin one along with a Speigen carbon hybrid and a new Seidio with the holster for my Note.. I use the leather for good and the Seidio for work. I hate covering up the phone with ugly cases... Ha Ha

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

This might be a bad suggestion, but what about getting a second line and have that be the iPhone line? Keep the Note, and you can dual wield devices...:D

This is what I finally had to do. I would go back n forth just like OP. now I have Note 5 as Batman, iPhone 6 is side-kick Robin.
it was the Only solution that worked for me. I have both and use both. worth the extra cost.

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I've been back and forth so many times. I sometimes miss the Note 5 but I love my 6S Plus. Both take great pics. It's a toss up in the end but I pick the 6S Plus for myself. I'm invested in the ecosystem too much. Can't complain about either phones

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I have noticed one thing about my Android versus iOS purchases. When I buy an Android device, I feel like I'm paying for the hardware. My $800 is going toward the fast processor, the big bright and super sharp screen, the camera, heart rate sensor, s-pen, etc. With iOS products,I feel that my money goes more toward the ecosystem, user experience, and customer service.

I don't see why you need an iphone to use the ipad?
I've used an adnroid phone and iPad Air together for years
had the iPad 3 and now iPad Air.
I just loaded most of the google apps to my iPad Air and they work togeother fine

I don't. It's just a quirk I have. And it drives me nuts.

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I have tried challenging myself to stick with one platform and see what happens. Wanted to go one year. Longest I have gone is 5 months and that was about 5 years ago when I had the Nexus S. I think I'm caught in the habit of switching and if I could just commit to one for longer than a couple of months I would be fine. So first I have to make it through the 14 day return window. And then, stop looking at so many tech sites. And maybe I will make it.

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I can completely relate to many of the posts in this thread. I have a iP6, Note 4, GS6 and a G3 and switch back and forth every few days or so. All have too many cases My sim card is getting worn out, lol. If my iPhone's visual voicemail would "just work" without needing to wipe/restore it every time I throw in the sim from another phone it might get more use.

I might be nuts. :)

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I envy those who buy a device and stick with it. It must be so gratifying when they do upgrade. For me, because I get new phones so often, the experience isn't that fulfilling anymore.

Ha! I'm glad I'm not the only one in this boat. Verizon iPhone 6s Plus and as of last week, Sprint Note 5.

I'm wondering if this Note 5 I bought last week will make it past the 14 day return window., So far, so good.

I have noticed that I'm less likely to return a phone immediately if I'm happy with the accessories I have for it and if I like the color I chose. Right now I have the white, 64GB version. And I have the Tech 21 screen protector that is perfectly placed and the black Tech 21 tactical case that is a perfect fit. Along with my T-mobile service that has been great and good performance from the Note 5 so far, it's looking like I may make it through that 14 day window.

We honestly need to start a support group because I thought I was the only one! I switch phones like a madman but I always come back to the iPhone. To make matters worse I do the exact same thing with iCloud and Google. I have a 6s Plus and I just returned my Note 5.

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

Hi folks here. I have been reading this thread and think have the same problem. I currently have a Nexus 5 and in a few days I'm getting an iPhone 6S. I just sold both of my iPhone 5s(es) and I already miss them 16 and 32GB by the way). At one point I had 3 iPhone 5c(s). I think I just wanted to put them side by side to make a rainbow.I had a note 5 for a while, but thought it was too much of a beast for me (too big), so I sold it. And don't get me started about phone cases. I must have 50 in my collection right now.

Usually I have 3 or 4 Android and iPhones at a time. I can't make up my mind which platform to stick with.

My next gadget will be Nexus 5X, may iPhone 6 128GB (for my music),

I would like to join your support group : )
