Note 7 branded Verizon vs T mobile

I agree tmo has some gaps but the area I'm in I have great coverages. Actually all the carrier's have great coverage so it came down to price and phone quality (updates and such). Tmo had it all. Verizon uses the coverage as a way to mark up pricing and modify phones to their liking. With wifi calling becoming better, it wouldn't surprise me to see subscribers becoming more savvy and leaving them.

Verizon has a habit of removing features that you would normally have for free with a service they charge for. Example would be Samsung cloud removed for their version of cloud storage. Samsung is free and Verizon has a cost.

Well, I've never paid for VZ's cloud...if it came to that, I would do just as I do with their 'pay to use' Navigation-hide it and not use it...

It depends on your location.I am in suburb of Boston I have had At&t Verizon and T mobile.I have never had sprint. For me they are all pretty equivalent. But I did not care for Verizon customer service .They are expensive and too much bloat.I prefer GSM.I currently have note7 on T Mobile and very satisfied. Their CS is good .My purchase of note7 and getting my replacement was easy.I just switched from note4 on At&t to note7 on T mobile.I really like the Uncarrier.Very happy I switched.

I was an original Verizon note 7 owner. I found out the Verizon had took it upon themselves to alter some settings on my paid in full Verizon model. Was not happy about this. So when the recall happened I decided I would switch carriers. After being a Verizon Customer for 12 years I was nervous about the switch. All I can say is wow the T mobile note 7 is much nicer than the Verizon version. Very little bloat and all of the settings are available.. I understand peoples hesitation concerning coverage. Fortunately my area is solid with all carriers. Despite me living in a small market. If T mobile is good in your area consider making the switch but don't try taking an unlocked Verizon phone to T mobile... doesn't work well.

I recently switched within the past couple of months and was a grandfathered unlimited Verizon guy. I really was sweating making the decision. Good to hear about the handset differences and as far as my coverage and price and I so glad I made the switch.

I can't stand carrier branding on phones. So, network coverage/prices aside... very happy with how the T-Mobile Note 7 looks. Would have otherwise had to get an unlocked variant.

Been a TMo customer for 15 years. Always been happy with their customer service and their phones!

I would prefer a unlock version vs a carrier one, and phone from some carriers have different performance from other.
