Note 7 looks better than S8?

Who else things so? I really thought the Note 7 design was elegant and subtle; the curves were perfect and the phone looks more symmetrical and squared. The S8 looks too curvy and strange, and let's not get started with that weird home button placement. Former Note 7 owners, what'd you think?

I would disagree. S8 got rid of the front FPS, logo on the front and physical buttons, which by itself is a 95% improvement. I'd also prefer it if they could get rid of the curves, bring back the flat screen and square off the display corners. But I'm just not into the edge thing; haven't seen anything practical come of it and I'm still stuck on a pretty traditional face idea.

Not saying the s8 looks bad but the Note 7 was something else. It was just about perfect, excluding batteries. Im not a fan of edge screens, at least not currently. I didn't like the s6 edge, s6 edge plus, s7 edge, but I liked the note 7. So hopefully the s8 edges are just like that, though I absolutely agree that the edges of the phone were more squared then rounded the s series and it looked better because of it.

I want my Note 7 back!!!!!

If I had the Note 7 I wouldn't even be buying the S8 Plus. I'd be waiting for the Note 8. With Android 7.0, the Note 7 would still be better than the S8 Plus. Minus the 835 chip, the Note would still have it beat with the Spen.

I always like new things so for me S8 over note 7 especially with the reduced bezels, loss of that physical buttons finally.

It's been a while since I had a phone without a physical home button. The last one I had was the Galaxy S2 (at&t version). I like the N7 though. I'll have to wait and see the S8 in person.
