Note 7 pre-order directly from Samsung online. Mistake????

I pre-ordered my Note 7 (AT&T) directly from Samsung online August 3rd. I called them today and could not get any info on when it will ship. Did I make a HUGE mistake not ordering through AT&T? Has anyone been given a delivery notification from Samsung?

Same here. Ordered from samsung.com direct on 8/3 and no info on the phone. No charge, no notice of delivery.
Even the online order check doesn't work.
