Note 7 Tempered Glass Screen Protector

I installed the flat Xtreme Guard Spartan tempered glass a couple of hours ago.

I was too nervous to continue going without anything on the screen, and it's more or less what I expected, so I can live with it for right this moment until I can find a viable alternative.

Thanks for sharing the picture, it is indeed quite narrow. It's so frustrating as it is really the edges I'm worried about most :p

Hey all!

Hope This helps anyone looking for a Samsung official screen protector. I will link the YouTube video below so you can actually see the installation of this screen protector it protects all the way to the edges. It also has no touch or S pen problems at all. I bought mine after I had 3 failed attempts with other companies who sold bogus glass attempered curved protective whatever you wanna call them. Lol. Anyways hope this helps people who are looking or are in need thingy is awesome and the ship all over! Good luck!

Woah, pretty sweet that there is two in a pack at least! I'm actually kind of surprised by how thick it is, I was expecting thinner from the images. Also that video is pretty hilarious proof of my statement above, haha.

Too bad it is out of stock atm, I haven't been able to find the official protector anywhere else :-/

I just talked to Samsung....they have NONE available in the US and didn't even seem to know about them...and that was Product support in person on the phone!

I had previously installed a Skinomi wet-apply protector and had tried using my Ringke air case with it, but it pushed the corners of the protector, like others have experienced. So, I took a Dremel to it with a small grinding stone and ground down the corners a little bit - I didn't do a great job, but it works fine now. The case still stays on, and, although the close-up picture shows a lot of dust, you'd have to look closely to see the hack.

I bought the same case, the clear version and added the Pure-Gear Extreme Impact screen protector. All is good on my end.
I have the same and the very very edge on the side just will not stick and after just 2 days its already getting dust underneath the edges... I never advocate going naked but after 4 different screen protectors so far I'm about done for now

I just received a Luvvitt Tempered Glass HD Screen Protector and I put it on, it fit OK but it keeps making a creaking noise every time I touch around the corner edge of the screen with my i-Blason case on. It's also a little thicker than I would like, putting the home button in a hole. I removed it, but am offering it as a warning for everyone here. I'll try and get the official Samsung in due time.

Honestly, I gave up on the tempered glass screen protector once Samsung stuck with the curved screens...they just don't fit right. And the Note 7 is glass front and back, I'm sorry, but you need a decent case. I'm extremely pleased with my Combo, a Zagg HD Clear InvisibleShield as the screen protector (the plastic film) and a TECH 21 EVO TACTICAL XT case. Get the Zagg HD installed, let it dry for 24 hours, slip the phone into the inner black plastic liner of the EVO XT (take the 2 pieces of the XT case apart first!), then slip the phone installed in the black liner back into the larger case. Pull the edges of the case carefully around your Note 7. It's perfect! Your Zagg will lay flat and your Note 7 is in a very protective, attractive case...much more aesthetically pleasing than an Otterbox Defender.20160822_173453.jpg

Is the back protected with a protector because if not, chances are that dust and particulate matter is going to migrate and cause all sorts of abrasions and scratches.

Is it a case where one part fits over another part, or is it a case that comes together as two pieces? I don't use cases that come together as two pieces anymore. A while back, I had one of those, and as soon as I dropped that case it came apart and my phone skidded out onto the floor. Don't mess with two piece cases any longer unless it's like a spigen, where the case attaches to another part.

Curious, where did you buy the Samsung screen protector and how much? I cannot find it available yet. Thanks!

How the hell does a UK site have official Samsung accessories before Samsung themselves. Anyone else see something wrong with this picture?

Samsung is based in South Korea - I suspect S Korea would be the first to get their products. The US is somewhere further down the list.

No, this isn't one of the cheap two part cases. Once you fit the Note 7 into the inner plastic, that fits very securely into the outside case, whose sides fit precisely around the inner plastic. Maybe you should try the TECH 21 Evo Tactical XT yourself, you'll be a believer. I am.

Just went to the Verizon store and got the new curved glass they just got in yesterday. Full adhesion across the entire screen. Fits perfectly and works fine with 2 different cases as it is slightly undercut in the corners.

I might try the glass, but I am perfectly happy with the Zagg HD Invisibleshield and my Tech 21 Evo tactical XT case. I feel the case will fully protect my screen as it's raised well above it.
