Hi all, recorded my daughter at her 1st kickboxing competition and uploaded to youtube.
If you look at the video in the first few minutes the quality sucks, and the boxing ring ropes seem to flicker and shake/shudder.

Really weird - the original file does the same, so its not a youtube conversion.

Its like when she gets into the ring someone is playing with the light - auto adjusting...
Could be because it was fairly dark, yet ring was lit up?

Also check your video recording setting make sure it isn't recording to your sd card. You want to record to the phone itself.

Ta,
Its set to FHD
Storage location is set to Device.
Video Stabilisation was set to On - I thought this would be best?
Is it best to disable stabilisation when indoors or poor lighting?

Thanks

Did the video look the same on your phone as it did YouTube. I know I wondered why my videos looked so bad on Facebook and realized I had a hd setting off in my Facebook app settings.

Video stabilization is software. Turn it off, it has optical image stabilization (ois) always on.

Try uploading to Vimeo. Also the fluorescent lighting causes issues in video (and even stills) in venues like that as it cycles thru color phases at 60Hz or other frequencies depending on country.
