I have a Note 8 that is 2 weeks old and from day 1 it has been rebooting and occasionally freezing up. I suspect that it was apps in conflict with the OS and I had just transferred all of the apps from my S7 Edge to the Note 8 using Smartswitch. About 4 days ago most of the apps updated via the Google Playstore and the reboots and the freezes stopped. This morning Google Chrome and Maps updated and lo and behold the phone has rebooted twice. I have since removed Chrome and Maps, reinstalled and updated them and will monitor the phone. The phone gets warm when it freezes but the freezing has now thankfully, stopped. I contacted Samsung Philippines where I live, and they advised me to take the phone to a repair facility, but I honestly believe that they will not be able to see the problem happening and will solely monitor the phone. Before giving it back to me.
