Note 8 screen crash

My samsung note 8 which is hardly 6 weeks old has screen crash problem.

As shown in 2 images attached, the symptoms of this problem are.
A. NOTE 8 would be working fine.
B. All of a sudden screen will crash
C. Then u press the home/menu button and the screen becomes normal

Please advise and help

That is a very obvious defect get rid of that thing and get a new one


I've had mine since September 7th no issues like that. If the quality of your screen does something like that it's not worth keeping you should definitely get a new one. I do not think that is a common occurrence so replacement should be fine
 
I have had mine since September 7th and thank goodness haven't had that issue. A couple of times though I did have it where it froze and rebooted itself but I think that was two times in the past three and a half months. But honestly if my screen never did what yours did when you show those photos I wouldn't hesitate to return it
 
Sorry I didn't mean to double that post like that. I meant to ask you where are you located and what carrier are you through with your note? Mine is T-Mobile
 
If its recurring, I would do a hard reset of the phone back to "out of the box", and see if it continues. If it does, then its defective and should be taken back for warranty replacement.
 
I had something similar a while back on my S2 (That is a while back) it would do that sometimes when scrolling quickly through my gallery photos, it was ok if you scrolled slowly, odd issue, anyway Samsung exchanged it.
