Is it just me or is the signal horrible? I have one tiny bar and have already dropped 3 calls

did you let AT&T know you got a new phone,or just dropped your SIM in it? I had an issue with reception last year with my S7E on AT&T and I let them know I got a new phone and gave them the imei and they updated their records, I had better service after that

I have AT&T. So far I'm satisfied with the signal strength and call quality. I'm getting the same number of bars I got with the S8+. I just took the SIM from the S8+ and put it in the Note 8. Call quality seems about the same.

I just put the SIM from my note 5 in

I'm sure there's a workaround here navy in admin settings for signal, I'm just not the person to Point the right way

I got Verizon and I'm in the country and have all my bars. On all my phones including note8. Pretty much only reason why I'm still with Verizon lol

Have you tried a different location say one block away ,makes a hudge difference we're I live

Check your settings under More networks. It may be different in the Note 8 settings. I'm using a Note 4. Make sure you have LTE/GSM/UMTS set and not Global or LTE/CDMA by some chance. Or this has nothing to do with it and I'm talking out my a**.
