My hubby and I really want the Note 8, but I'm not willing to sign an agreement with VZW forcing me into a pay in full for our next upgrades. I called Vzw hoping they would try to keep our business since we're out of contact, but I was basically told it is what it is & if I don't like it, leave! So it I'm done and it leads me to my question.... What offers for the Note 8 do T-Mobile & AT&T have? Can anyone offer some advice?

I have tmobile. Love their flexibility. If recommend them. Had bad experience with less than honest Att reps

I would recommend T-Mobile. For how cheap the plans are, coupled with the service. And then you add the fact they are right behind vzw for signal strength. I know signal strength will be different all over. But in Minnesota they are on par with vzw. I know T-Mobile has a BOGO going on for new customers or if you add a line.

It's all about coverage. I live in NE Florida and it was horrible when I did a test drive. Signal strength was non existant when inside a building. I went back to AT&T. Pricing is much better on TMo but it's useless if I don't have a signal. Do a test drive with TMo and see if the signal strength is good enough. Keep in mind, the Note 8 doesn't support their new bandwidth that increased signal strength.

I've had bad service with T-Mobile myself. I've been with AT&T since '08 and they never have failed me. Always had great service with them. T-Mobile, I only had good service when I was home (least place I would need it) but hardly any when I was at work or at school or pretty much anywhere. That's just my experience though.

That's my fear with T-Mo. I know the service isn't the greatest in my area. I know AT&T offers bundles with Directv but since I already have DTV, I have a feeling I won't get the best pricing in comparison to someone that doesn't have DTV. It sucks! I really didn't want to be forced out of VZW because I have zero complaints with them. But now they're the only carrier not offering annual upgrades with 50% of the device paid. The representative I spoke with had the nerve to lie and say Samsung wasn't allowing them to offer that program anymore. When I corrected her and said they couldn't be true since VZW is the only major carrier to take away that option, she all of a sudden became silent. I hate being jerked around and lied to. Now it seems like I'll be paying my local AT&T store a visit.

For me it's just the opposite. AT&T is horrible where I live and I can't even use the data I used to pay for at my house, I get 1 bar if I am lucky so I always would have to use my WiFi here.

T-Mobile and Sprint are the only two carriers that I used in my area that could get me a signal at my house. T-Mobile has also announced that the T-Mobile one plans now include 50GB of data. No other carrier has that.

I switched from verizon to tmobile. But my service was bad where I use it. Switched to att and been much happier. But you mileage will vary. Best of luck.
