Note 8 trade in offer status for Samsung.com orders

Also, when I log into my Samsung account it does say my trade in device was received which is a good sign. So far haven't seen any new charge so fingers crossed.

Curious to see what will happen. I am sending back my note 4. I called Samsung and they said they would accept this. I am not trading in the phone that I still have payments on, my husband is due for an upgrade so I will just give him the S7 Edge I have that's freaking brand new (I turned my Note 7 in as late as possible).

I can send my phone in once the new phone comes in, correct? Also, those of you that financed, did you have to make an immediate first payment?

Mine says shipping tomorrow!

No way....they said they would take the Note 4? Did they say they would take it at the $425?

"product received". Now i wait..i wonder if it will be along the lines of the s8+ trade-in program and ultimately take a few weeks for it be verified/accepted.

probably on the 16th day from receipt so you can't return your note. If they jam me on the trade, I'm returning the phone.

I traded in a GS5 as part of the N7 promo program. When I placed the order, the details showed a full $425 trade in value maximum. I sent in the GS5 and its in transit. My order on the Samsung website suddenly went from $425 max trade in value to $0 max trade in value even though they have not received the product yet. Makes you wonder if Samsung order entry systems are flawed or are they playing some kind of game with consumers. Well we'll know in a bit once they accept the receipt of product and bill me.

Thanks! A trade in should not be a roll of the dice! Samsung should know better as a major consumer electronics company.

I saw the same with respect to the Max Trade In Value. However, once Samsung received my Note 5, the value changed from 0 to 425.

I am a former Note 7 owner. I have a S5 Galaxy I had gotten a while ago for my mom which was returned. So I can send that in, but I kind of HAVE to get the $425 credit. The obviously everyone is here because of the prior issues with trading in a phone to samsung.
So...sounds like jury is still out? gotta just take a chance or just be ready to return the note if they try to screw you on the trade in?

What phones have you guys traded in....just curious
Selected iPhone 5 as trade in device because that was the cheapest available to buy, was not going to give them my iPhone 7 plus or other latest Android phones .

I traded in my sister's old S7E for her Note8 and it says "product received" as the status with the trade-in value of $425
