Note 8 vs S8+ Screen

Wow! Picked up a Note 8 today and the screen blows my S8+ outta the water. It's not even close.

Seriously though, I had both phones for a while until I sold my S8 Plus. Did not notice screen quality difference between either phones. Both are excellent.

I have had both phones since a few day's after they were each released and I agree with everyone but the original post there is almost no noticeable difference.

Playing with a Note 8 at the store, other than obviously being taller, looks about identical to my S7. Which is to be expected when it's the same display tech and similar screen density. They haven't done much besides improve the colors and brightness.

l own both right now the screens are the same ....but the speed an smoothness are not ... this is where the note 8 shine it's a beast fastest samsung I've ever own

I agree with the original poster. I believe my Note 8 screen is far superior than the screen on my S8 plus. The colors are more accurate, white is more white and the screen is much brighter. Perhaps my copy of the S8 was not up to par but this screen is gorgeous.

slightly newer panel will probably have wider color gamut, more brightness etc. But it's not a night and day difference.
