Note 9 cases

Caseology Parallax arrived for my mom's phone in the dark blue shade (several images already, see just a few posts back). It seems like a decent everyday use kind of case. It is slimmer/not bulky and is not too slick feeling, really because it isn't the rigid plastic I expected (no doubt my mistake for not reading carefully, I just jumped on the killer sale). I suspect she'll end up with a Samsung rugged case in Silver (hoping it's available when we pick up the phone).

So I splurged and bought the Defender. The Legion case had rough edges, the Samsung rugged case the material feels great in the hands but just doesn't offer much protection especially on the sides and lips like the Defender does. The bulky defender also feels better in the hands too.

Did you get the Defender Pro from Best Buy or the regular Defender from Otterbox?

What is the difference besides built in screen protector? I got the standard one from Sprint Store no screen protector. The screen protectors for these curved edge phones all suck. I remember the Otterbox for the s7 edge fitted very snug to the screen so no dirt got under it BUT the response to touch was terrible. I was going to get the Unicorn Beetle but that too has bad reviews for screen protectors. I'm going naked once again but I don't keep any change or keys in my pocket with it, just the phone.

Edit the Best Buy site says it has a screen protector but the reviews for it say it does not. Some typo.

I really like the UAG Plasma series for colourful back side of the phone.

Bout to order this spigen case. Will go great with my ocean blue note9. Won't be available til mid September but I can wait for it to come in. Spigen website says $34.99 but their store on Amazon says $16.99. Amazon for the win lol.

That is a nice lookin case.

My UAG Monarch case (all black) is due to arrive today, so that'll be really, really nice to have in addition to my clear tough - Case Mate case I'm currently wearing on the Note 9.

I'll have to borrow husband's phone to take a picture of my Note in the Case-Mate clear case.

Yeah that's a good looking case, really complimenting the blue/yellow well.

Anyone else have a Case-Mate case? I really like my clear Case-Mate. See the blue well and it has good protection, easy to hold, buttons very easy to access and use, etc.

Sorry about the dog furs in the case - have 2 huskies and hard to keep that away lol.

Took these photos with husband's Iphone 7.

I can confirm both the official Samsung S-View and Rugged cases work with the Samsung Fast Charger convertible and my old Tylt Vu

Got my SupCase UB Pro yesterday and discovered something, They now have a built in kick stand. I'm not sure how durable it will be but i'm glad for this improvement. It's something I had wished the previous versions of the UB I have used had.

Cheers,
BR

Something I discovered with this case, It's difficult to click the s-pen & pull it out. (the clearance on the top/face side of the s-pen is slim but i think it's the overall depth and size of the opening. I have normal sized fingers and have found it's easiest to use my pinky to activate the s-pan then pull it.

Cheers,
BR
