Note 9 cases

My first of two cases arrived today when I checked tracking - can't wait to see it when I get home. I'll post a photo. It's a clear Case-Mate rugged/protective case.

I wish they made a Neo Hybrid with a kickstand, I like it more than the Tough Armor and Ultra Hybrid. I've been using spigen pretty much exclusively for years now. Neo Hybrid was my go to for a long time until I developed an addiction to the kickstand lol.

Does that have any grip to it? Or is it just smooth? I need a little grip to mine. I love the look though.

Yes if they're too smooth I feel like the phone would slip out of my hand. The clear tough Case-Mate I got yesterday has a decent grip to it. The UAG Monarch in transit has a great grip as well. These cases above looked awesome, too.

Just received my first 2 cases - UAG Plasma and Encased with kickstand.

My daily driver on my S8+ has been a similar Encased case, but they changed it for the Note 9. Now no protection on the top or bottom (not covered at all) and instead of the original buttons being totally open, there's an outline of plastic around it that is recessed. I'll have to see if that impedes easy clicking or not. If so, i'll return it.

Yeah, me neither. The sides are more covered on this one vs the one I have on my current phone, but I can just see a drop landing on the uncovered bottom or top. This might be going back...

Can get a credit for a beefier case perhaps. Can't wait to get my phone tomorrow and get the first of two cases on it. 2nd case arrives Thursday .

Does anyone know if the cases with the ring and magnet in the center will affect Samsung pay (NFC or MST)?

It shouldn't, I use metal plates between my Note 8 and a couple of cases and SPay works like a charm.

I didn't pay attention, I'll check later today, place my Note 8 in one to see how it feels.
