Note 9 data connectivity issue

I bought a note 9 new and unlocked from Amazon. It's the T-Mobile version. When I got it I put the service through straight talk Verizon. The boot logo did not change from the T-Mobile one, service did however work but with a huge issue. It's connect to 4g full bars for about a minute and work, but then about a minute later would shut off and it's get no bars and say "e" next to the signal status. So I switched even though I know Verizon works good in my location to TMobile through straight talk. I'm still having the same issue though. I've tried disabling and enabling bands. I've tried APN stuff. Nothing seemed to help. What can I do now?

Hi welcome!

Go to settings >about >software and take screen shot of that whole page ?

Okay here ya go

The boot start up won't change with straight talk sims , double check your APN settings?

The phone is orginally Verizon

Hmm, okay so when I first got the phone the boot logo was T-Mobile, even with the Verizon from straight talk sim. Also it's preloaded even with a factory reset with a unlock your phone by TMobile ( doesn't work, says cannot connect to server) and the T-Mobile app. And has all the bands that a TMobile phone. Regardless though what do you think I should do from here? Btw thank you so much for your time brotha. I've been dealing with this for probably three months now. Searching everywhere for a answer and finally figured I'd ask instead of search.

Yeah what happens is straight talk sims are not recognized by the device to configure it to that carrier, it has to be a sim card directly from att, tmobile, sprint, Verizon for it to configure.
Now I think person had it before you probably used a tmobile aim and reason it ended up with the configure. In settings >connection >mobile under APN is there one there ? Is it highlighted?
Your welcome!

Here's my APN settings which actually came from a 611611 number I think straight talk automatically sets

Yeah it's highlighted. I also don't think the APN is the problem because I do get service almost full bars but it'll only be for maybe a minute then it shuts off. I have to wait along time for it to actually go back to 4g

Gotcha, try going settings >general management >reset >reset network

See if this helps

I've done it a couple times and didn't seem to do anything but make me reset the APN settings through the 611611.

Yeah I've done it prolly 6 times messing around with different APN settings and reverting back because the APN settings didn't work

Is there anyway I can check and see if my antenna is faulty? I do however know my wifi works perfect 5g and all

You can download one of those LTE apps in play store see your connection on data but would really like test your sim in another phone
