Note 9 Full screen optimized app not fiiting the screen

[Android Central Question]

Full screen optimized app are oversized and can't fit into the screen even with the screen display set to WQHD+. Moreover my Navigation bar is not showing when the Navigation Buttons option is selected. Swiping the screen from bottom up doesn't bring up the navigation bar. The gesture hints also doesn't show at the bottom of the screen. Even some of Samsung setting screens do not fit within the screen. This brings me to the conclusion that there must be some display setting that has gone wrong.

Any idea to resolve above is much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes I use Nova launcher prime 6.2.3. Can it be the cause.

Update : Disable Nova launcher and switch to samsung launcher. Still Navigation button not showing.

Try rebooting the device

If that doesn't work, try system settings >general management >reset >reset settings
(Will reset the home Screen arrangement)

Yes I played around with the DPI. I even set the DPI at 500 at yet I still can't see the Navigation button at the bottom of the screen. It just disappeared and will not reappear when I set to "Navigation button". Could it be the apk that contriol the Navigation button is corrupted. By the what the Default DPI for Note 9.

Have you already tried booting in Safe Mode? Of course, you'll only be able to test preinstalled apps.

Scroll upward to the max. Navigation buttons not there.
