Well, if you watch over time, you can figure out which sources are reliable and therefor which rumors are more likely to be true. So it's not a total waste of time IMO. If you want to know more about a phone not yet announced officially then rumors are just about the ONLY way to know about it.

These threads are fun actually, as long as you keep in mind that they are just rumors until confirmed.

Fair enough. I'm very excited about the Note 9 too, but I'll just take it one day at a time, until I get that bad boy in my hands.

It's odd that people are freaking out about the 6.4" display. The Note 8 is 6.3" now and since the Note 9 will have smaller top/bottom bezels the display can be larger in the same form factor. In fact the phone might actually be shorter.

I'm not sure what the unofficial official rumors are at the moment. But, I read a few months back about the screen going from 6.32" to 6.38". It won't even be noticeable unless you have a Note8 laying next to it.
If some people are freaking out that it's getting bigger, I agree that it most likely will be a couple of mm shorter.

They should compare the physical dimensions of the phones instead of just the screen sizes.

Having a p20 pro i can tell you a 4000 battery is key for the note 9.. i mean. the p20 pro battery gets more then a day no matter how much i try to kill it . lol note 9 gets 4000 battery goodbye p20 pro hello note 9

Without the glass back, you wouldn't be able to wirelessly charge. Considering a lot of people like that feature, I don't see the glass back going away.

Plastic or carbon fiber work fine
