Note 9- Notification sounds all the same?

I just upgraded from the S8 to the Note 9 and I noticed it plays the same notification sound for all apps. Like Snapchat used to have two unique beeps and Facebook Messenger had the normal chime noise. I went into each app and it has notifications and sound enabled, but somehow they lost their own custom sound? It's kind of annoying because I have to look at my phone every time it goes off just to tell what I'm getting a notification for. I did change the snapchat one in my phone to something similar but it's still not right. Is this normal for the newer phones coming out?

sometimes you can lose settings you had on the phone to the new phone.
Now if you want to change notification sound on a app just long press it select app info then notification scroll down and change the sound to a different one

Thanks for the reply! I know how to change the sound but the apps don't have their own notification sound anymore. I went through the sound settings last night on Facebook Messenger and it doesn't have its normal chime anymore, it only has the sound called "Facebook Pop". As for snapchat, that one lost it's unique sound also. I guess I'll just be using the samsung ringtones for all my apps now!!!

I figured this out now. When I got my Note 9, its downloaded all my apps from my S8 account so for some odd reason, it didn't carry over the default app sounds that were originally there, so I uninstalled Messenger and reinstalled it and now the Messenger sound is back. Same with snapchat. If anyone upgrades to a newer phone, I'd recommend just re-downloading the apps from the app store vs. letting your backup reinstall all of your accounts to the new phone.
