Note 9 Removable buttons........ WTF ? (JerryRig Everything)

Yes. Full description in the playstore. Also allows programming the volume keys for various functions.
I'm surprised Samsung hasn't bought this guy's ip and put it in settings. Maybe not surprised.

WHAT?!?!? They don't need to buy his IP. They aready own it. The Bixby button can be remapped or turned off completly if that is what Samsung wanted to do. They don't need some outside programer to come in to tell them how to program a button.

That said, story is that the Note 9 does not play well with the Playstore solutions to Bixby, since it is a different version of Bixby. We will see what happens. Several reviews I have seen had had a Bixby update pending, and there is even a firmware update out of the box.

Chill out. And either they own it already, or they can buy an app from a developer. Or they can write their own. Point is Mike D question is answered.

Yes go into bixby. Touch settings and you get an option. Deselect it.
Or you can just turn off the voice if you don't want her listening in.

The removable buttons are pretty great. It's added security. Now if I ever need to leave my phone behind I'll just take my buttons with me.

Buttongate... In the words of someone long ago... don't hold (the buttons) like that. lol C'mon man - buttons are meant to be pushed, not pulled with a fricken knife. I think we'll all be fine. lmao

Until someone pulls their phone out of their pocket (or whatever) and the side of a button catches on the folder edge or something. :-p
The point is out of all the phones he’s tested (a lot !), and he test them all the same way (scratching on the side with a razor knife), this is the only phone that has had the buttons come off.

Right, but his testing is extreme and not typical conditions. I guess if people's buttons start coming off then we'll have a concern, but folks concerned about that because of this video are a bit jumping the gun, I think.
