I think the issue trucksmoveamerica is your generalization that all note owners get upset. I don't get upset. I don't see so many folks here that get upset. When the Note 8 was released, so many folks here said that it was barely an upgrade from the GS8+ and at the end of the day, the difference was the s pen and the software/features that go along with it.
But, I'm not entirely sure why this was even a point. Your original message that I responded to was complaining that the incremental upgrades between the Notes and S line phones were not worth the cost and as a result, you had a hard time accepting the thought of moving from your S10 to a Note 10. My question was why did you even move from the Note 9 to the S10 in the first place and at the end of the day, it's what's important to the customer. If they want the latest toy, then obviously it's going to be the most expensive route, upgrading your phone every 6 months. However if you don't want the s pen, why would you consider going to the Note 10; or if you want the s pen, why would you have left your Note 9?
I don't know if any of those questions were answered - I ended up having to assume what your situation was and leave it at that. The Note vs S line being the same phone thing seemed more like a red herring.
Didn't you reluctantly return to the Note line last fall with the Note 9 after having the S9? Or am I mistaken in that...
