note 9 vc s10 plus

I have the S10 plus but was looking at the note 9 really like it but just upgrade to the S series. should I get the note or wait for 10 I thought I heard it has 6.7 screen if so thats to big for me. Im with ATT.

not really but like the features. my handwriting sucks. and I just like the phone.
eBay has one for 629.00 which I was thinking that's a good price. and I had one but was talked into getting the S10

That is a good price, and I'm with you on liking the Note 9 , even though I bought the s10+ and it's a great phone I cant give up the beast Note 9 .

I'm sure you'll have no change out of 1250 for what the base model will be and up to very close to 2k for top spec.
Ok there will some freebies thrown in the bag but you still have to cough up the the money first.

I'm fairly sure there will be more than one version, they will have to release one with 1TB/12GB/5G and quite upgraded cameras, otherwise they won't have a chance to get best mobile of the year award again and I'm sure they are going for as many top 10 spots across top/mid/budget range as they can get but No1 being most important.
At the same time there's many regions where 5G won't matter, I'm guessing there will be a top 5G version and cheaper lower configured 4G versions

Yeah I can see that happening, also I think the s10 series probably are capable of 5G just a matter of software update to enable it if they choose down the road but 5G to me going be awhile before it becomes like 4G.

I have the 9+ and N9. Compared to the 10+ enough in store to realize I despise the display hole even more. Only use my 9+ for Gear VR and N9 as main. I find the much less rounded corners of the N9 and no hole, a much better experience for content.

The hole top BTW should have been against the top bezel, rather than waste even more display space for the notification area.

I do like the s10+ due to less bezel, the display hole is not bothering me , but I do like the Note 9 boxy design and display .

Likewise. Far superior than the S10 series in my opinion. I will hopefully be able to get it to last until the Note 11 comes out, since the Note 10 is already looking to suffer from the same problems that the rest of the S10 series does.

If they charge $1100 for the base model they better not take stuff away like Iris scanner and such. If they're going to charge a kings ransom they should also throw in the IR blaster.

I would seriously buy the s10 Plus if the Note 10 cost a huge amount. I still have my tab s3 or I can buy the Tab s4, s5 for the spen fix.

I'm not paying MORE if they take features away.

Most of the new design changes are problems for me. No iris scanner, new fps, notification light, and the charging gimmick really is making the S10 series appear to be extremely overpriced.

Yea, it makes no sense to me why you TAKE features away but then raise the price. Yea it has more storage but most of us wont come near using 1tb and we have SD cards anyway.

Fine, if you take Iris scanner away then at least swap it out with the IR blaster and I wont complain at all. I personally don't use Iris scanner because I wear contacts and when I don't have them in I have issues with it but it's just the point why you take features away but then jack prices up.

The S10 line seems overrated anyway once the hype has worn off. If Huawei could get hooked up with the major carriers they'd give Sammie a serious run and I would consider their high end model too if they only became more mainstream. If Huawei ever does and Samsung keeps jacking up prices and removing features then I could see Sammie being in big trouble in the smartphone market.
