Note buyers, what are you upgrading from?

LG V10, which was hard, as the V20 is on its way out, but the reports of it having modular capabilities has turned me off.

A Note 4 that has started to show its age over the last few months.

I thought I was going to go Nexus, but changed my mind. I don't mess with ROMs like I used to, and I want the bigger screen and some of the extra features. Also, mobile OSes are not progressing as fast as they were, so getting the latest does not have the value it once did. I admit, I will still obsess over getting the updates, but that is a choice I am making. :)

6p, I hate to leave but the Bluetooth and poor signal reception are making it difficult to stick with it. I have a Galaxy s6 for work, that uses Verizon, as does my 6p and I don't have any drop calls. My 6p, too many, too much.

iPhone 6s+. I had the Note 5. At a tradeshow, I had dropped it on a thick carpeted rug about a 3 foot drop. When I picked it up the screen was purple and black but no actual physical damage. That really ticked me off. Furthermore, I could barely squeeze 8 hours of use out of the Note 5. I LOVED the device, but I needed a phone that can get me through a day without worrying about the battery dying on me.

iPhone 6s+ gave me a consistent 10-12 hours no issue, doing the same tasks I was doing on the Note 5.

I am hoping with a bigger battery, this time around, I will not have an issue. I want 10 hours..SOT of about 4-4.5. That's it...

I'm coming from a Note 5. My Note 5 is overheating and locking up the phone/killing the battery. I noticed today that it also has some minor burn-in where the notification tray is. I didn't think that was an issue anymore, but I guess it is.

Note 4. Bluetooth has started acting up over the last 4 months. Can't keep a connection. Since I was planning to upgrade anyway, why bother wiping the Note 4 & setting it up again if I'm about to switch phones. Plus, this will be my 2 year upgrade. Went from Note 2 to Note 4, and now to Note 7 (Samsung messing up my "even number" phone scheme.
