Note buyers, what are you upgrading from?

S7 edge on JOD minor upgrade but the black one is amazing in person phone is a delight to hold only thing I'm slightly disappointed about is the battery hopefully it can last through the day without much recharging

I did not order the Note 7 for myself, being that I have a S7 Edge (silver), but I did buy it for my younger sister as an early birthday gift and she will be upgrading from a measly iPhone 5S (gold) to a Note 7 (Blue Coral) - now that is a beast to upgrade to! She is plenty excited as she loves to draw so this will be a perfect phone for her. Yes, I spoil my sister because I love her so much and she deserves it.

I have two, but I am closest to my youngest (I'm the oldest lol) and she has been dying for a Samsung. I won't be telling her it came in the mail - she is currently on a trip to Croatia with my dad, so I'm gonna try to keep it as much of a surprise as I can. But, seeing that I paid for it and all, I get to play with it first lol I cannot wait because it's apparently being delivered tomorrow! I pre-ordered on the 5th and it shipped out on the 15th so she is going to be coming back home next weekend as a Note 7 owner! Lucky gal she is, indeed. I'm excited for her! I went through this excitement in March when the S7 Edge came out lol

I am currently using a Note 4 & upgrading to Note 7 is going to be a big thing for me. But I am going to lose one feature, that is, using my phone as a remote control (due to absence of IR blaster in Note 7) :-(

LG G4 here. Breaking the contract a year early to upgrade. Never owned Samsung before. I really want an AMOLED screen and I think the Note 7 has my name on it.

I'll be moving up from the HTC one m8. I still really love this phone, been through a lot- and everyday this week I've been growing more and more attached to it knowing that I will probably have to trade it in. An angry ex throwing it against the wall, 3 years of college parties, falling into a giant puddle of **** (literally), dropping it from a roller coaster and it STILL works like new with a perfect screen and just body wear. Damn I will definitely miss it...


..Until I hold that sexy black note 7 in my hand then I'll probably be saying "what HTC?" lollll

Updating from the Note 5. Never liked the phone for all the reasons that have been endlessly documented in the sticky threads. Do admire the device's lack of lag and profile in the hand. The phones that really excited me were the Notes 3 and 4. (Kinda like the first iPhone.) My move to the Note 7 is without enthusiasm and predicated on my disappointment with the Note 5. Ciao.

Couldn't agree more. Note 3 was simply the best. Unfortunately, I traded it in for the Note 4. Haven't made that mistake since and now I keep all my phones. Also partial to the Note 4. Simply indestructible and I use it constantly to cast to my TV.

I'll get the Note 7 tomarrow but only because I never liked the Note 5. Ciao.
