Note II-SD card, how to change file destination?

Need help on how to prevent files from saving onto my sd card, without un mounting it.

In what circumstance (s)? I've found that most apps have an option in the preferences to determine where things are saved.

Personally though, given that apps can only be installed to the internal memory, I have everything save to the sd card.

When I download files from the browser it doesn't let me choose where to save it, just auto saves to sd, and I don't want to unmount card just to save to device

While in the browser:

Menu button > Settings > Advanced > Default Storage

As with most apps, it's in the settings.
