Note taking app?

Former (well, current) Pre user here whose EVO will come in the mail on Friday. Hooray!

Question, though: The Pre had like a "memo" app built in, but I couldn't find such a thing on the store-model EVOs. Since I'm entirely new to Android, don't know what to expect in this department. Are there any note-taking/memo apps available? Any recommended above the rest? Thanks a bunch.

There's one in the HTC widgets when you modify one of your home screens. You have to download it.
