Note20 ultra and gear s3 frontier sounds?

I haven't been wearing my watch since getting the 3.0 update on my ultra. For some reason when the watch is connected to the phone, the phones/watches notifications sounds are muted. Only the ringer makes a sound. Anyone else??

I'm about to install Android 11 on my Note 20 Ultra right now and will test it with my Frontier tomorrow, I'll report back after that.

I've been using my Frontier all day with the Note 20 Ultra, so far it's working fine, notifications and all.
Have you checked the notification settings on the Wear app?

That was it, Thank you. It was drivng me nuts. Still don't understand why the phone wasn't making sounds though. I'm guessing the two are somehow linked!!

I don't remember if these options were the same before or if they added them with the update, but I turned on the 'Show while using phone' option this morning after connecting my Frontier to my Note 20 Ultra.
