Android Central Question
I just got a new Samsung Galaxy S9 for a couple hundred bucks.
I'm upgrading from my venerable HTC One X+
The HTC One X+ had a notepad app that included a widget for the home screen that let you swipe up and down to quickly "flip" between "pages" on a virtual notepad as if it were a mini-spiral.
The Samsung Notes only lets me display one note on the page and changing between them is cumbersome.
Are there any free apps out there (really hoping for ad-free since the HTC one was ad-free and I use this when not connected to the internet, so if it requires an internet connection especially for ads it's useless) that give a similar capability to quickly change between notes? I used the notepad app extensively as a replacement for an actual paper mini-spiral that I used to carry around in my pocket, and I had many different notes for different things, so being able to flip through to quickly find what I need is vital.
Heck, if there's a way to download the actual app used on the HTC One X+, I'd love to get that, but it did not show up in Google Play, and it is a Samsung phone, not an HTC, so I'm skeptical of finding it.
One thing, with some lucky timing, the HTC One X+ decided to up and die on me a day before the Samsung arrived, however I had to wait a little longer for the new SIM card; so extracting the app from the non-rooted phone is impossible. Luckily I had already made the backup to transfer to the new phone.
