I'm using a Droid X, but for me it was a two step process to keep Outlook Notes synced with my droid: First I had to buy gSyncit from fieldstonsoftware.com ($20) to sync Outlook with my gmail account. It syncs calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes with gmail. Then I downloaded GDocs Notepad from the Android Market on my phone, which syncs notes with my gmail account. The beauty of all of this is that it all syncs seamlessly in the cloud for free, and I never worry about plugging in my phone and hitting a "sync" button.
Hi jbideganeta - I'm almost there on this, thanks!
I downloaded the trial gsyncit, and the folders from Outlook Notes are now in my google docs!!
As I was about to download gdocs notepad from the Android Market, though, I saw the official description read: "It doesn't support folders - all notes are synced to a single Google Doc's folder (whose name can be changed in the app's Settings)".
I'm not sure exactly what they mean "folders". In my Outlook (now, Google Docs), I have about 200 Notes, each with the title line showing. I click on the title line, and the multiple-line note opens in a new document.
In your experience, do you think I will be able to do that in my Droid 3? ...Or will all my separate Google docs be crammed into one
really long document on my Droid 3 that I'll have to scroll through?
Thanks much ... I can almost taste it I'm so close, I think!
Edit: I'm kind of holding off on dowloading an app to sync the Droid 3 w/ Google docs - there are a million to choose from, some with not so great reviews, it's kind of overwhelming. I see there's an "official" one by Google called "
Google Docs" - I wonder if that is the app to download nowadays? Thanks -
