notes taking app recommendation

Can some recommended a good notes taking app that I can use in a uni lecture? Thanks

I use color note, just because its a very simple app. Does what I need it to do.

I'd recommend something that backs up your notes to Google Drive (formerly Google Docs). I have AK Notepad; it backs up to something called catch.com, which I know nothing about.

I'm trying Evernote because I can use/sync with all devices. I don't need nearly all it's features so it's overkill but I guess I just don't have to use what I don't need. Tried Color Note wasn't fond of it but it is a nice simple little program.
