Verizon Galaxy S8 Notification issues

I have no problems getting notifications for messaging or email but I am not getting any notifications from apps like line messenger, Facebook and a few others. I don't get sound or vibration alerts and it is not showing up in the notification bar. It does show new notifications on the app widget though. I have checked and double checked the apps to ensure the settings are right. Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

Clear memory on those apps or re update? Just a shot in the dark.

Just to be clear you have gone into notifications under settings right?

I had the same problem. Go into your settings. App> app manager> click on the app you need> go to the notifications and make sure it doesn't say blocked mine did just change that and you should be set

I am having a problem with Yahoo mail app. It isn't showing notifications. I went into app manager and it is set to allow. Also in the app. I do have the sound part set to no sound, but I allow vibrate. This worked fine on my S5.
Any advice would be appreciated
