Notification LED Not Working When On Battery

So here's a new problem that crept up. When the phone is plugged in and charging, I get notifications per the LED when a text comes in, etc. When the phone is unplugged, I get no LED notification at all.

This just started happening recently. No new apps were installed. Safe mode doesn't seem to fix the problem. I have no 3rd party LED controls installed.

Any idea?
