Notification LED on S10?

did you recently update it? I did at one point and had that happen. I sent him an email and he said that he mistakenly messed something up, so I updated it again. But he seems to have an update out every single day.

He has updated multiple times per day on some days. I've counted 5 updates in one day last week. This app is getting on my nerves and I sent him money for it (before it quit working).

That app is trash and sucks too much battery. Paid the money and uninstalled it. Not worth the headache to me.

I've gone with using Tasker to turn on the AOD when a notification comes in as per

Admittedly, its not as visible across the room like the LED, but for me the phone is right beside me most of the time, so thats not an issue.
On the plus side, although I loved my S6 (hence taking so long to upgrade) and its notification LED, I never found the LED to be 100% reliable, more like 90-95% and the testing i've done so far of the Tasker/AOD has been flawless.

I've also got Tasker to disable the AOD when on charge for 2 reasons. Firstly, as far as I can tell, the 'Charging Wirelessly...' message does not move unlike the rest of the AOD, which makes me paranoid about burn in.
The other reason is that it means I can run the AOD at a brightness of my choosing (therefore more visible) and not have it light the whole room up (pointlessly as well) while I'm trying to sleep.

The AOD just does nothing for me personally at all. It's not even remotely as helpful as the LED notifcation light.

It looks like they just released a version that blinks, if I'm reading the release notes correctly.

This looks interesting. I think I'll make the switch from AOE.

Well, I guess that person lied or something changed because it's working on AOD. Which I like about Android phone's unlike Apple phones. It also works when you lock or unlock you phone, when you're using your phone and when yes have it AOD.

So, it was quite a journey to get to this point, and I am sad to report I am not fully satisfied with the results so far. But I have more than exhausted the time I have available for side projects, and I need to focus on work for a while now. There are further gains to be had, I'm sure, possibly someone else will figure it out while I'm doing other things

I have notice that the color of you app is that's the color of my your notification. For example my Vivint icon is orange so my notification is orange. My G-mail icon is red so my notification is red. My text message icon is blue so my notification is blue, and so on. That is what I noticed.

Yeah, at the time I asked, I didn't realize it works hand in hand with AOE, so I'm assuming that whatever apps you have notification lights on AOE checked, are the same for the Holy Light app. For some reason, once I started using it all of my notification lights stopped working. Couldn't get it going no matter what I tried, so I had to uninstall it. I have no issues with AOE, aside from missed calls not working anymore, so I guess I'll stick with it.

Does it affect battery life. AOD destroys mine so I wasnt sure and would like notifications. I'd decide to continue on later if it works.

The developer added some new things to the app now. It explains on how much battery life is being used You can choose your notification on your AOD or you don't have to have it on your AOD and other stuff.

Also you can choose to have the notification light swirl, blink, pie, or disabled.

Also, it has a setup wizard on the app as well. You may have to restart your phone after you change the settings or your notifications may get delayed (don't know if it was because of the app or my wireless on my phone. A quick restart of my phone fixed it though).
