Notification Light Keeps Lighting Up

I'm having kind of a strange problem with my Moto Droid. The green LED that usually lights up when I get a new notification (email/sms/etc) CONSTANTLY lights up for no apparent reason. The phone will be locked and sitting on the desk, and it will start blinking. I unlock the phone and I have no new emails, text messages, missed calls, or anything. There will be nothing in the notification bar at the top, and I can't figure out anything that's causing this.

Any ideas?

Have you tried power cycling? Do you have any contacts set to go directly to voicemail?
