Yes, this has been answered before. If you look at Ptaswath, all he does is create redundant threads every day. He always asks a question and then never responds. The mods combined almost 10 of his previous threads, but he still does it.

Actually, I have a question about the notification.

When I receive an email on my corporate exchange account that's linked to Gmail, I don't get any LED notification. I do see lock screen notifications when I turn the phone back on, and the light works fine for text messages.

I have email set to send notifications when emails arrive, but I have the ringtone set to silent and did not select vibrate. Is this just a weird (and unfortunate quirk) of Gmail?

I've always used whatever stock email app came with any other phone (lately Samsung devices) and never had an issue.

Wouldn't happen to correlate with the start of the pixel giveaway by chance?

I never understand why so many sites would entice people to spam forums for additional entries. Thankfully android central at least had the commonsense to say this could result in disqualification .
