Notification sound while S9+ is on mute/vibrate

[Android Central Question]

Even though my ringer profile is set to mute and or vibrate, I would still hear notification sound from some app. In the Notification settings, I have only allowed apps that I recognize to show notification. All other apps are blocked to not show any notification.

However, I will hear a notification sound on my phone but there are no notification.

Not sure how to disable these notification.

The problem is that the app is playing media, so it's following the media volume instead of the vibrate/ringer volume.

Download the app called Nice Catch from Galaxy Store. It's official Samsung app. It logs every sound and vibration event when it's enabled. When you get this notification again, just check which app did it.
