Notification sound?

Is there any way that I can get a custom notification sound beside what is on the Rezound I knew how to change & add new ringtones but not notification sounds any help would be great.

You might just have to leave the box un-checked under Settings>Sound>Vibrate. Don't know if you can actually turn off the vibration while your talking.

if you use a third party texting app like handcent you can stop any kind of notification while you are on a call.

I use Go and turned that feature off stil vibrates on new e mails.

When I look on my wife's phone, ringtones that she's downloaded show up in /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones
You don't have to be rooted to access that location - just use your favorite file manager (EX. ASTRO: http://market.android.com/details?id=com.metago.astro or
ES File Explorer: http://market.android.com/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop)

I can access the ringtones, and with astro file manager I can get to the notifications folder and see the tones in there... but it wont let me put new ones in because this is a system read only file... any way to add custom notifications that you know of???

I guess I'm just dense - I can't figure out what it is that you're trying to do. I went into Settings->Sound->Notification sound and all of her ringtones show up in that list.
Then, I used ES File Explorer to copy a random file from /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones into /sdcard/media/audio/notifications and it pasted just fine, so that directory isn't read-only.

Perhaps if you just say what you're trying to accomplish rather than worrying about files and directories it might be easier to help you?
