Notification sounds in blue tooth

How do I turn off notification sounds when on the phone, it comes thru my blue tooth as well and drowns out the phone. I tried going to sounds and turning everything down but it still comes thru at full volume. Any help would be great? Asking girlfriend to repeat is not a good thing....

Try going into blue tooth settings, then go into your blue tooth device settings and uncheck media audio.
