notification sounds

Anyone ever have issues with notification sounds? I've noticed with mine, sometimes after turning sound back on, they don't actually turn on and my phone continues to vibrate only.

I have never noticed this on mine and I change my notification sounds on, to vibrate, and back, a couple of times every day (work/office and when my baby son is napping/sleeping at home).

Is there a possibility of something conflicting with my phone?I had battery doctor installed at one point but not anymore.

Might you have a media player paused and/or running in background?
