Notification System Toggle Apps options / alternative to ROM's

I miss the setting toggles in the notification bar, and the dark theme from the Skyraider ROM, otherwise I'm happy with this Gingerbread OTA leak. Other than Widgetsoid, I haven't heard of many options to get what I miss from Skyraider or any other Sense 3.0, 2.0, or 2.1 ROM's (I love Nil's too). Any of you out there more knowledgeable than me?

I don't want to lose the battery efficiency and speed of this current ROM for just a usability perk. Not a very good tradeoff IMO. This release reminds me of how much the Incredible impressed me when I first bought it, before I bogged it down with all of my Apps...

LOL - Gingerbread does provide a lot of back end improvements!

Unfortunately the setting toggle is a Sense 2 feature. The DInc2 has it, but HTC has never been good about updating the Sense versions on any of their devices. You'd have to flash CM7 or one of the newer Sense ROM's to get it.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Nil's Business with 3.0 is my favorite songs far, but I'm waiting until he irons out a few more bugs before I take the leap again.

When was the last time you tried it? I'm using version 2.1 of Nils Business Gingersense 3.0 and its pretty dang bug free for me. Not perfect mind you but like 95%.

I tried it maybe a month ago? I'm going to wait until he finishes using the source code from the real GB release before I reflash it. It'll be the best of both worlds by then.

Okay, so another application suggestion I received was for Notification Toggle:

So two applications so far, Widgetsoid and Notification Toggle. Notification Toggle seems to have a delay between pressing the widget and it taking effect, but it's easier to use than Widgetsoid. They both have their Pro's and Con's...

There's also a Quick Settings Mod that you can get for the Notification Bar of you know where to look. I'm not sure of this forums policy of posting links to other forums...

I suppose it depends on the source...

I've posted links to XDA. Just don't take credit for other peoples work, make sure the source is appropriate for all ages and I don't think it'll be a problem.
