notification tone

Hi Folks
Is there a way to delete a notification sound once its added? I added one of my songs with the little + but now I want to delete it and I cannot figure out if it can be done. Thanks Its in the notification area not ringtones

So you want to replace the tone with another? If so, you into settings > sounds then change the sound to the desired tone. If you want to delete the actual time from the phone then you'll need to remove the file from the ring tone folder, which is located in /system and can't be accessed unless you have root.

Thanks. Would resetting the device remove it?

FDR will remove it along with whatever else you added to the phone.

Ringtones are located in the "ringtone" directory and notifications are in the "notification" directory.
Just download a file manager (or use the one that comes with it in Qslide) such as Astro and delete the tone

Don't worry, you don't need root

Settings - > Display - > Notification LED

There you can set which LEDs you want to use. The top set is for front side, the option for back side.

The back ring lights up for incoming calls, during calls, and the alarm. The front LED is for notifications.
