Notifications Android

Good afternoon,

I am new to Android, I come from the IOS that I have always used.

I currently have an S10 +.

My question is as follows:

Whenever I open an application for example email, WhatsApp, SMS but I do not read the messages, I am automatically without the notification in the icon.

How do I be like IOS?

Welcomed to Android!

Once you open an app that is showing a notification that notification will be removed from the status bar and pull down notification shade. As far as I know there is no way to get that notification to remain once opening the app.

That's the stupid way Android is designed now as far as notifications go. Completely stupid. They made it like this a few years ago and I don't know anybody who likes it.

Don't get me wrong, I'll take Android over iOS all day every day. I could go on all day about the things I hate about Apple. This is one thing I do not like though. Not gonna sugarcoat it.
