Notifications. ... How do I shut them off

How do I stop ALL notifications from popping up on the Droid RAZR? Every 5-10 minutes I get a notification of some kind, some is just banners, some email, some text messages etcetera. I know how to shut off Facebook n email, just can't shut off the banner notifications... bugs the heck out of me

Sounds like ads... Are you rooted? If so there are a few good ad blockers out there like adaway, adfree, and one in the rom toolbox pro.

Try AirPush Detector from the market.

One thing to note is that ICS notifications are handled more by the apps than the OS. So if you are on the ICS release, go in and adjust notifications within each app settings for more control.Hope this helps.
