Notifications not appear when pulling down notification bar Galaxy 9+

[Android Central Question]

GALAXY 9+ When I get a notification from Snapchat or Instagram or Seamless etc. I pull down the notification bar to access them and they are not there/not appeared. I have to either swipe to different screens or lock the phone and unlock it for them to finally appear. Also just waiting a minute or two before pulling down the bar works. It is really annoying. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it??
