Notifications not being received

Hi,
I am using an S6 for the last couple of weeks and noted that notifications are not being received. They are received when I open an app or connect to Wi-Fi. This is happening for Whatsapp, hangouts, messenger, google play. (there might be other apps too).

Any idea how I can solve this issue?

upgraded to latest update ... will monitor and revert

Turn off IPV6 in your router. I was having notification issues when I was on WiFi. This fixed it for me...

issue is for both Wi-Fi and 3G.

And issue still persist after upgrade.

same issue on my note 5 - my IPV6 setting was already selected as blocked on my router and I still have the issue any fixes yet?
