Notifications Not Working

So I'm not getting any push notifications from apps. Facebook, Instagram both have all the options checked but never get any icon in the notification bar or sounds. Google+ is super slow to show them if any at times. But Gmail works fine.

Any ideas?

Go to Settings>Apps, and select some of the apps whose notifications aren't showing. Make sure the Notifications checkboxes have checks in them.

Do you have any other app installed that might modify or enhance notifications? Something like an unread count badge widget?

I wonder if there is some app you've installed that is interfering. If you decide to do another factory reset, I suggest installing apps one by one, rather than en masse. Install Facebook first, and see if notifications work without anything else installed.

Perhaps this ...I had similar problems with WhatsApp/ messenger etc I found the ' Cleanup lockscreen' function within the Phone Manager icon, which had all the apps set to Close when locked ,I've now unticked particular apps I want to keep open ...worth a try ?!
