Notifications on lock screen

I'm getting this notification for text on my lock screen.

First, any way to turn this off? If so, where?

Also, can you open the text from this notification? If so, how?

Hmm, it's been a while since I've used a TouchWiz ROM but I'm pretty sure you simply tap the box or make some sort of swiping motion on the box.
Also, there's no way to turn that notification system for the lockscreen off.

That's what I thought too, tap the box..no go. Let me get someone to do a text and sore you what happens when I tap.

Ok, couldn't do a screenshot, the problem went away when doing one, it makes a "box"at the bottom. Swiping takes it to the normal lock screen, but long press opens the message.

Sigh..I don't like a required notification system, but at least long press will open the message.

There are options to changed the notification. I changed mine so I dont receive them on my lock screen.

But that is just for the notification bar. I want the envelope in my notification bar..

That doesn't work, there is no notification at all that you received a text unchecking that. You have to be staring at your phone to know you got a text.

Well then check the notification box. Also make sure to have led notification turned on. Make sure to set auto retrieve message on.

In my previos post leave notification on and uncheck preview. That will turn the notigication off in your lockscreen.

If this is not what you mean then your question is not asked right cuz this is the notication bar and notification menu. This does not put any message on the lockscreen.

I never had preview checked, I don't like the message going across the top of the screen.

Looks like it I'd going to go on the lock screen if you get notifications, that you can't stop that.

If it is unchecked I get NO NOTIFICATION. I just have to look at my phone and see the message icon at the bottom.

Yeah it looks like they notification on the lock screen can't be turned off. It's not easy for me to get to the message from there. I just unlock the phone and use the notification in the notification bar to get to the message.

You should be able to do it with an app called Dynamic Notifications

Nah, but thanks. It's not that big of a deal and I generally don't download customization apps, those tend to be the ones that cause issues.

Hmmm.. I don't get a Notification on my Lock Screen, it goes straight to my Notification Bar up top. Plus I get the Notification Sound and Vibrations. Is that what you want???

That's what I want, just can't figure out how to do it..
