Notifications skipping?

I've noticed that the more my SD card gets full, my notification sounds are skipping now.. not sure if the SD card is heavily fragmented or not..

anyone else notice this? should I copy all contents off, format and then copy back?

Is your notification sound on your SD card?

I had the same thing happen to me on my Nexus One. I ended up copying all contents to my pc and formatted my SD Card. Seems to be doing better after doing that. If you have the time, you should try that and let us know.

Yeah, all are on the SD card.

Ok.. yeah it was fine at first, but then I noticed my SD card has tons and tons of folders, and all sorts of stuff from apps.. probably just fragmented.

I copied all data off, formatted the card and copied back..damn sounds are still skipping.. =(
