Even with Galaxy Button Lights app, when I set power settings to anything but OFF, the buttons won't light up. There is no setting in customized power settings specifically for the button lights, despite an article on line about this very issue with Nougat. When power settings are set to OFF, the buttons stay lit (by using the Galaxy Button Lights app)constantly, which is my desire.

This doesn't work

I just searched the Play Store for "galaxy button lights", installed it (despite it having the same name as the app I've been using for over 2 years, and it looks identical when I open the app (but the icon is different), BUT, and here is the thing, there is a note at the bottom of the settings that explains that Power Save will disable the button lights. I guess they made that for folks who are now running Nougat. Crap. I'd like to save some battery power, but I want the button lights to work. Da$n developers.
