Anyone know how to get rid of Plurk? I was sharing a cat that I collected from the Nougat Easter Egg, and I noticed Plurk was an option that I could share to. Anyone know how I can remove it?

I saw that and wondered what it was... It's weird bc it's not showing to be installed on my phone but it's always there if I try to share something

I am enjoying the Nougat update. The bluetooth connectivity to my wireless headphones has been awesome. I work downtown Chicago, and usually walking through Daley Plaza my connection is bit shotty, but not anymore. Also I like that we can now customize the quick settings shade. I'm still playing with the split-screen feature. It will be cool to multitask. Overall, I love HTC, I'm glad that they've hung in there. Samsung and Apple are just over-priced pieces of junk, the true androids.

Yeah if you look up Plurk in the App Store you can install it. I searched my whole phone and didn't see anything. It's just the very first thing I see when I go to share something and just bugs me

It does seem that after wiping the cache the standby battery life has seem to settle down. I love how the update has made my phone even faster than it was before. Like some people have said the fingerprint scanner seems to be even faster. And now I love that we can reply to text messages without having to go into the text messages app.

Things seem ok so far. Battery life seems stable, I don't see much of a difference right now, but I will give it two or three days longer. Remember to delete per Shuyun's instructions on clearing cache in Play store: Settings > Apps> Google Play store > Storage > clear Cache. Do the same for Google Play Services. It should help.

Quick question... will the 7.1 update or otherwise have it where you can put 5 apps or icons per row on the home screen instead of the usual 4? Or is that only for other Nougat-specific phones like Pixel, etc.?

Might be a manufacturer thing. I could set the lg V20 to have 5. I use nova and you can set it to have a 12x12 home screen.

Holy battery life. I'm admittedly working from home today and yesterday but my phone is now at 32 hours on battery and still 47% remaining. It reports another day of battery life. That's mostly spent at home on Wifi but also includes 2.5 hours of non-wifi call time. Definitely much improved battery life.

Battery life does seem better, At the end of three days I had 16% when I got home last night. I don't use the phone a lot, so YMMV.

I've got to say other than having to pull the SIM card and SD card out and her to let the phone finish finish updating. That's such a weird bug.

Since I have SIM and SD card in my phone, I might run into this (hadn't received the update notification, though)

The SIM and SD card would have to be removed with the phone turned on in the phase where it loops? Or the phone should be turned off when it reaches the loop in order to remove the cards, and then turn it on?

I didn't get the glitch and I'll bet most people don't so I wouldn't worry about it. If you do get it, shut her down and pull the cards.

Have a strange notification thing going on with Whatsapp. Back on MM, I could preview about 4-5 messages in any given chat by pulling down on the notifications bar. This let me read some stuff without marking it read.
Now, I can only see the most current message in any given chat, so if there are a few stacked, I can't get a glimpse at them.
Textra seems to work as it did, with multiple messages from the same chat being visible in preview.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I think it's only in cases where I dismiss one notification from an app group. For example, if I expand Gmail's notification with 10 emails and dismiss them individually, I'll get 10 notification sounds, one after each dismissal.

Is no one else experiencing this? I constantly have to take my phone out to check notifications a second time after dismissing (archiving?) some, because it starts making sounds.

Is anyone else having an issue where the 'recent app/multifunction' button always goes to split screen? I cant find anything to do with this in settings and it's driving me nuts! I might use it occasionally, but right now I've just lost functionality - from the home screen and full screen only apps it does nothing!

I've tried long pressing and double taps etc. but nothing works HELP!
