Nova launcher LG knock not working

Only works if you tap the notification​ bar. Anyway to get it to work? I love that feature, but also like the beautiful look of Nova Launcher...

You can set up a gesture to lock screen but it takes the phone all the way out and forces you to use a password/pin unlock instead of fingerprint. That meaning it's like getting into your phone after a reboot

That's not true. Double tap does work on Nova and it'll lock the phone and the fingerprint will also work. Do you have nova prime?

No I have the free one..

I see. I can't say about the free version. But using prime I am pretty much able to double tap to lock natively like if I am using stock launcher.

FWIW, I had the free version of Nova for about a week on my V10. I couldn't get double tap to sleep/wake to work either. IIRC it just sat there, wouldn't do anything. So I reverted back to stock. Too bad, because Nova is a really great interface.

the coolest thing was rotating my phone horizontal to landscape on my home screen and having everything re-orient itself... I miss that. I may have to give it another try.
